We had the most wonderful stay at the Akanthos Villa. Our host, George, was welcoming, communicative, and kind; he made sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. The villa itself is very beautiful and quiet, located just a 5-minute walk from the main port. A charming and spacious historical home which was perfect for our family during our Easter holiday. We will be coming back again! Thank you, George!

We had a great stay. The only problem was we didn't/couldn't stay longer!! George was a great host. He met us on arrival at the property and showed us through, explaining how things worked etc. The property is a lovely old place dating from at least 1904. There was plenty of room for the two of us (2 bedrooms. One which we never needed to walk into because of the space available). There is a lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy a bite of the harbour. While there is no TV, you won't have time to watch it anyway as you'll be out exploring the island! The location is spot on a well. It's about a10 min walk from the ferry so no need for a taxi. Although you may get stuck in a coffee shop or bar on your way there. Plenty of good options! Would absolutely recommend this home if you are in Poros.
