The Grand Hotel Acores Atlantico was a great hotel to stay at for our first trip to Sao Miguel in the Azores. The hotel staff were all very helpful from arranging airport transportation for our arrival and departure to helping our group of 6 plan tours of the island. The hotel location was perfect for walking to restaurants or shopping or going across the street to swim in the ocean at the city of Ponta Delgado public swimming facility. Daily breakfast was included in our stay and was outstanding.

My daughter and I loved staying at this property during our stay in Ponta Delgada. Breakfast was included and had many fresh and tasty choices. The pool area was very relaxing and had both a steam room and sauna that were very clean. Front desk staff were very helpful with luggage and advice for transportation, activities and restaurants.

I absolutely love everything about this hotel. This is my second time coming here and when I return to Sao Miguel, this will be home. The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Ponta Delgada. There is valet parking available. The staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. The hotel is magnificently beautiful and luxurious with its gold detail. The room is spotless as usual. They’ve done renovations and the pool is heated and there is 2 saunas stations which we absolutely adored. The breakfast is always immaculate. Thank you Grand Acores Atlântico for the memories. I can’t wait to be back already!
