What an awesome find. Small walk-up hotel with the friendliest staff, good beds, great breakfast, and convenient to Ponta Delgada, just a 15 minute walk. MY only concern would be finding parking in high season, but it was no problem for us in November.

Great hotel and excellent staff

The hotel is very nice and has a clean style with nice details. The staff, however is what made this hotel special. Extremely friendly and very helpfull, giving good advice on how to spend our days on the island, and also what not to waste time on, where to drive and where not to drive. Adapting breakfast for pregnancy needs and generally just making our time there great. Thank you for a great stay!

It has been great. The room was spacious and comfortable, sadly the bathroom had no window but it was not a big deal. The breakfast was superb. Casa da Ilha's people are kind and very thoughtful. The position is great to be away from the city but still being able to get to the center of Ponta Delgada with a 10 minute walk, ocean side. Incredible.

Cozy room and really friendly staff! I like the home style feel. The only downside was that we were on the third floor with no elevator, which I didn’t realize at booking. Also found some parts of the building construction a bit “off” - the bathroom door didn’t close without a good heavy push, and my phone charger tripped the lights at one point.

Location is 20 minute walk to the centre square. A few great restaurants around within a ten minute walk. Lovely coastal walk across the road. Staff was super friendly and the whole check-in/out process was easy. Our room had a wonderful view of the ocean.

Tolles Konzept, tolle Unterkunft. Es mangelt aber an Ablageflächen, insbesondere im Bad und der Gesamtzustand der Unterbringung könnte besser sein. Hervorzuheben sind die drei Damen ;o) die sich viel Zeit für die Gäste nehmen und sich hervorragend um jeden einzelnen Gast kümmern und stehen gleichzeitig mit vielen vielen Tips zur Seite. Dadurch entsteht schon fast eine familiäre Stimmung. Danke dafür, ihr seid toll, ihr seid Casa da Ilha, ohne euch wäre es nicht halb so schön.
