“The Novotel hotel at Taiping like to turn OFF the Air conditioner around 4pm in the hallway! Let the hallway and elevator feel like an oven! It feel like a 100 degree in the hallway. This is unheard of during this is Malaysia , all year round Summer. When outside is almost 90 and can you imagine no AC inside the hallway and the elevator?This is a safety hazard for guess to stay there! Are they consider that people can get sick with the heat so high? I will never recommend anyone to stay at that...

“Good hotel for a short stay in Taiping. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was adequate—comfortable bed, small bedside table, small desk, TV, a plastic chair, small bathroom with a hot water shower. No fridge, but that’s not a big deal. The hotel is right in the center of town, which has many really great food stalls everywhere. You won’t be eating anything more than snacks in the room, trust me. I liked my stay at this hotel.”

“Central to city sights. Need to drive to Lake gardens and night safari etc Carpark convenient. Pay online. Located in a quiet Str with lots of food stalls nearby. Market nearby. Wash basin too small to be effective for washing face. We stayed due to convenience and central location. Has a lift”
