Shower leaked, air conditioner on a timer and turns itself off, first checkin text no access code given therefore I had to contact property, dirty coffee cup, left over food from previous guest, half a roll of toilet paper with no replacement. Two nights of accommodation with only one bath towel per stay. No housekeeping during the duration of our stay.

Clean and spacious room. Ample parking near door. Just a couple of steps from the car down to the room. Very quiet and peaceful. This stay was a Thursday. We required a microwave. I rang the number on hand and the reception was closed for the day. It was 5pm. We had seen some staff cleaning other rooms on arrival. We went and asked if they could help. Which they did. A microwave was brought to our room quickly. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We were disappointed. The kitchen facilities were lacking, there was only a microwave but no stovetop or any utensils or pans. The pathway to the front door was unsafe and the door mat was a trip hazard. The decor was dated.

Location was beautiful and perfect for exploring the Hunter Valley. Great sized room, comfy beds and fluffy towels. We were just really disappointed in a lot of the details around the room - stained linen, sofa and carpet, under the sofa hadn’t been vacuumed, pretty dusty, TV remote control batteries needed replaced, lounge room lamp didn’t work so we had to sit in the dark while our baby slept or have bright ceiling lights in her eyes, no plug in the bath to bath baby, dirty hand wash dispenser in the bathroom. Disappointed considering how much we paid

Very clean, hot showers, and beautiful location. Especially loved the kangaroos right outside the rooms. Downsides - Google maps locationsi is very far off (19km from the hotel) so be sure to type the address instead of relying on google. Also our fireplace didn't work - maybe low on gas since kept switching off after 5 mins.

Terrible locks to get into room. Keypad does not react or to touchy so code goes in wrong then locks you out. You then cannot get hold of anyone to reset lock code. After ling drive and late arrival very fascinating. Accommodation itself is roomy and spacious. Clean. Toilet door does not stay shut and no lock on toilet or bedroom door.

The manager was great at communicating although reception closed at 4pm and we arrived after that to be met with a room that had filthy bathroom and bedroom mirrors like someone had wiped down with dirty clothes. You actually couldn't see yourself in the bathroom mirror, I had to get a cloth and clean. The carpet (1m2) was soaked next the the bed. I put layers of towels over it it by the morning they were brown with whatever they were soaking up. The property is very very run down. Toilet door falling apart at the bottom from water damage. Shower mixer broken. The beds were fine and the gas fire was great. I am yet to speak to the manager about compensation for the wet floor and condition of the room on arrival but he seems quite reasonable and was apologetic for the water which he didn't know about. But the property was dirty, old and rundown. The couches and bar/dining chairs are all Fabric and were filthy with stains and spills. Unfortunately needs a refresh, was probably lovely when first built. But the location next to peppers was great for an easy dinner at Nineteeen. It's just disappointing that properties don't maintain and update filthy furniture or sufficiently check their cleaners lack of cleaning skills. I don't often write reviews but sadly the 'boutique' part of this property is very misleading. But jason the manger was very prompt in responding to issues (although due to no other rooms couldn't move us).
