The parts of the property I saw were clean but needed some updates and maintenance. The pool was great but side walls of room and doors need replacement rusty and old. In our room the fridge and microwave need to be replaced. Our room was clean but needs paint and some updates.

The staff was great. The pub was fun. The hotel itself wasn’t clean. Public bathrooms filthy, the non smoking is non existent.. the entire hallways smelled like smoke and weed. Problem were loud in rooms. The room itself was just ok but would never stay again.

I only came for one day while needing some quiet time to get work done, so I can’t speak to some of the negative reviews I’ve seen online, but I had a decent experience. The staff was cordial, the room was clean, and I liked my little patio area that faced the courtyard. The hotel shares space with a pub/restaurant, but it wasn’t rowdy or sketchy during my stay and I didn’t feel unsafe at all. (Then again, I’m from NYC 😛)
