There was lots of choice at breakfast and the food was freshly made and tasted lovely. I stay in the area a couple of times a year and would not hesitate to go back here. Thank you Sue and Graham”

“Lovely old millhouse hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. All of the staff were super friendly, really good quality fresh ingredients for breakfast, all for a fabulous price!”

“We needed somewhere to stay with our dog and this limits your choices. However, the Golden Fleece was very clean, good supply of refreshments in the room, shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. They even supplied a fan to cool the room, although it wasn't great, it shows a level of care and consideration for guests and was appreciated. The owners we met were friendly and I would definitely consider staying again if we visit the area again. Only negative is they need to remove the cobwebs...

“Bedroom really needs updating and TLC. Carpet was marked and mattress saggy and uncomfortable. Bath panel needs repainting. Very weird door in bedroom that when opened had a duvet hanging between our door and the one immediately behind. Beautiful old building but difficult to shut windows and paint peeling. On a positive, the food in the restaurant was good and staff were all friendly. Lovely little village with some nice one off shops/cafes. I think the price is high for a basic pub...
