It was a lovely inn in a convenient location! The room was immaculate & the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly & helpful. We didn’t use the pool(very cool)or spa as we were just there overnight! Would highly recommended and would love to stay there again!

Great stay! The first night, we had an issue with the door and couldn't get in. The staff was super about getting it fixed, went above and beyond to assist us, and even comped us a night due to the issue. They are amazing, and the property was amazing, but the best part is the staff. Thank you, and will be staying again soon!

Great location, an easy walk to all downtown shops and restaurants. Our grandson loved the pool and water slide. The property was undergoing renovations while we were there so it is difficult to judge overall condition, amenities and cleanliness. The restaurant, which was closed for renovations, was missed.

Very nice hotel. Close to everything in Plymouth. All redone. Pool was great. No restaurant or continental breakfast yet. In process of construction. No inconvenience of construction noticed at all. Rooms comfortable and clean. Front desk very nice, and personal service at desk 24/7.

This is a nice hotel And very clean. it is currently under construction so the restaurant and breakfast is not available. The pool was a nice temperature. However, the hot tub needed clean and the jets were not working. Pool towels were not replenished. The staff is friendly and kind and always available. It was a quiet location within walking distance of downtown. Poor weather and the construction caused us to drive , but I can see that on a different day it’d be perfect. We would stay here again once hotel is completed with renovations. Great for families or couples.

For the price per night the cleanliness of the elevator, hallways has alot to be desired. The room was clean and fine. I was charged an additional $10 amenity fee that was not disclosed in the Expedia booking, but was never able to use any "amenities". The small hot tub closed at 9pm which was well before my dinner ended. Stayed at the Best Western Cold Springs the following night which had a great breakfast and friendlier staff.

We had a wonderful stay at John Carver. Parking was always available, close proximity to a convenience store, restaurants, downtown shops. There was a city-wide power outage when we arrived and they were able to keep the wi-fi and amenities working which was fantastic for 3 young boys dying to get in the pool. Staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. There were renovations occurring so not all areas of the hotel were available but still would come back again.
