The staff were lovely and very helpful! The property was clean and quiet in the evening. Had a lovely breakfast in the morning and would definitely recommend staying. We came back from a concert and it was only a 5 minute Uber from the centre/ pavilion.

Felt at home away from home

The guest house was lovely, rooms were clean and the family who own it were really welcoming. Fried breakfast in the morning was delicious. Definitely would recommend.

Incredible Hosts and Great Room

Perfect if you’re going to the football, very well priced and not too far of a walk to home park. Would definitely recommend this B&B. Staff friendliness was another level of incredible. Great family run business.

Great guest house

We arrived early, but the room was ready and they allowed us to check in. Really friendly and informative. The guest house itself was really lovely and the room was comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay again should I visit Plymouth again

Lovely clean, nicely decorated. Lovely breakfast cooked to perfection. Very friendly and was made to feel very welcome. Advice was given to visit a local place, which is a nice touch. Will definitely go back if in the area again & need a place to stay.

Comfortable room and lovely breakfast

Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were lovely. The lady serving breakfast was incredibly helpful. She took the time to tell us all about the area, and showed us directions on a map too. Would definitely recommend.

Arrived to a friendly welcome. Plenty of room to park the car. The room was spacious and clean with complimentary biscuits tea and coffee. Amazing selection for breakfast, plenty of choice. We choose the night before and was ready when we sat down. Friendly hosts who have a vast knowledge of Plymouth and which was very helpful. The only thing that let our stay down was the broken bed which they were apologetic and did come and made a temporary fix for the night.

We went to Plymouth for football and arrived at Alma Lodge at 9pm and was met by the owner with a smile and couldnt do enough for us after our long journey. We fillled out our pre order Breakfast form,had a good nights sleep,went down to breakfast and was met by the owners daughter who looked after us for breakfast,which was very good ingredients and she also pointed us in the right direction for our walk to Plymouth Hoe which was really lovely. Our Sunday breakfast was as good as Saturday with extra drinks and Toast on offer. if we visit Plymouth again we wouldnt hesitate to book our stay at Alma Lodge.

Clean, quiet, good breakfast and location.

The room was compact because it had a double and single bed as there were three of us. It was clean with all the essentials, comfy beds and fluffy towels in a good location to Argyle football ground. Good breakfast.

A lovely B and B that catered for our needs. Parking on the drive which was a welcome bonus. A little dissapointed with the lack of hot water from the shower and while the cooked breakfast was brilliant it was spoilt with the burnt toast.
