Vacations Close To Plötzensee

We had a very nice stay, clean room and nice staff.

Very nice location in Berlin and very close to the tram/subway station, restaurants, supermarkets, and the Spree river. Decent spanish tapas restaurant in the lobby. Helpful staff. Rooms are nice, generally clean, good size, and very quiet. We had great view of the river. Housekeeping somehow left our used coffee and drinking cups without replacing them from day to day.

SANA Berlin is an absolutely wonderful hotel. The rooms are beautiful, modern, and spotless, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and hospitable. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Berlin.

Perfect hotel! Enjoyed the staff and the stay.

A very strange 5-star hotel experience... Their main restaurant was closed on Monday, and the only other place to eat was the hotel bar. I asked the staff to book a massage for me, but they simply pointed me to a QR code, which didn’t work. There seemed to be no other way to book, such as calling the spa directly. When I eventually went downstairs to the spa to ask how to book, they gave me a completely different website. It also turned out that the spa is run by a separate company and is not actually part of the hotel. The spa facilities themselves are tiny and crowded. There also didn’t seem to be enough staff at reception, as there was almost always a queue. Another thing to be aware of is that around half of the rooms face the inner courtyard, which is quite dark. We had one of those rooms, and it felt dark inside pretty much all day. The hotel itself is beautiful, though, which makes all of the above even more disappointing for a 5-star property.
