It is a magnificent property with great facilities. Well located enough. But Plattenberg is a plain soulless residential seaside town. No quality in terms of restaurants. The property is closed to shops, cafés and beach (if you don’t mind the very steep hike back).

I had a very pleasant stay. The place is clean, comfortable, and well-located. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast has good, fresh options. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We stayed in the Rose Room. It was compact. All rooms were fully changed daily. Breakfast very average. Staff and owner friendly. Common areas were spacious and comfortable.

Absolutely loved my 2 night stay here. It felt like home. The space was so welcoming, clean bright and spacious. Views were incredible. Room felt like I was at home. The bed was super comfortable. Vanessa was wonderful & friendly. The guesthouse is a short walk from the main town and has some great restaurants close by. Highly recommended Ocean watch! Loved it.
