“The bedroom was excellent,clean well furnished and appointed. The only small criticism was that there was a lack of comfortable space away from the restaurant space and bar but as we were only staying one night this didn’t matter too much. The breakfast was excellent and the bar food,whereas it was well prepared, was a little limited in choice. We would however stay again.”

“Don’t bring a cat - there’s no room to swing it in the bedroom. And the TV was comically small. That being said, it was clean and tidy and the food excellent. Staff also very friendly.”

“No acepten upgrades ni elijan la habitación 4 del interior del castillo,tampoco les recomendaría que se alojarán ,ya que mi experiencia en el no resultó positiva,luego me contestarán con algúna respuesta tipo,pero les aseguro que hay muchos castillos en Inglaterra mejores que este.”

“A wonderful hotel well positioned in Hexham and as a base for exploring the surrounding area. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast consisted of a buffet selection and items cooked to order and was very tasty. Parking in the hotel car park was limited, but there is plenty of on street parking, which requires a token from the hotel.”

“I liked the set up and the amenities even though I didn’t stay long enough to use them, knowing there was a pool on site and a gym will definitely help me decide to book here again. The pub opened late which was great . And the breakfast had lots of options which is always good. All in all a wonderful stay .”
