At the scheduled check-in time, I had still not received the self-check-in instructions referred to in the Expedia booking confirmation. I was not provided with full address details to access the accommodation, the host's telephone number appeared to be disconnected, and emails to the host went unanswered.
Despite multiple contacts with Expedia before travelling, Expedia was able to provide the information required to gain access...

“Delightful cabin stay. Easy booking. Clear communication including a very detailed instruction given our late check-in (nice additional touch leaving a lamp on in the cabin to help our arrival). Excellent fit and finish throughout including the separate toilet and shower block. Convenient Spar opposite and a lovely walk to Par beach via the local coffee shop. Had the opportunity to meet the owner on check-out who was also lovely. Highly recommended”

“We had a wonderful stay at captains loft. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. Zoe and Luis were very friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The location was convenient, and we especially appreciated view . Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we would happily stay here again. We would definitely recommend this place to other guests.”

“I wanted to stay somewhere a little quirky and thought that this place would be ideal. There was a very steep lane on arrival. The hut shown in the picture is not the one we were in. We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night. We arrived about 4pm, unpacked the car and had a Quick Look...
