Vacations Close To Oceanside Strand Beach

It was a good hotel with a delicious restaurant and really great people. The only thing that frustrated me was that we bought an all-inclusive package but we were charged an “amenity fee”… that’s always super frustrating.

We had a wonderful time at Ocean Park Inn. Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Very clean. We saw staff cleaning all day. Great breakfast. Very happy we stayed there!

The entire property was very clean and had been renovated about a year ago. Really fun and wonderful stay. Be prepared there is no elevator and if you’re on the third floor, it can be a bit of a climb. Also if it’s during a hot spell, they have only a small air-conditioning unit in the room. Great location and a very cool and vibey restaurant on property.

When I checked in, the room had not been properly cleaned and the air conditioning was not working. The hotel did address the cleanliness issue very well the next day, but on the first night I had to stay in the dirty room because there were no other rooms available. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was never fixed during my two-night stay. They did refund me for the first night and genuinely tried to help as much as they could, which I appreciated. I really liked the location. The hotel is very close to the ocean, and everything you need is nearby. Unfortunately, the beach was closed for swimming during my stay because of sewage contamination coming from Mexico, so we were not allowed to go into the water. Overall, despite the issues with the room and the air conditioning, I thought it was a nice and pleasant hotel with a great location.
