The air conditioner and refrigerator worked great. The room was clean and the staff was great. The beds were the only thing I could complain about they were a bit hard and the springs could be felt, a mattress pad would help a lot.

We loved our stay and the place grew on us. Rooms could use a place for cloths and suitcase as they aren’t big and a coffee pot. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a small market but it doesn’t have fresh fruit or veggies and limited for lunch or breakfast items. Loved how staff booked tours which were very small.

Great hotel overall. The amenities were great; there is a pool, common kitchen with gas stovetop, common eating area, lounge chairs, mini fridge in room and places to relax. There was a hole in our door which let in some insects and ants. The wifi was patchy in out room, but that could have been because we were the farthest room from the main office. There was a great restaurant next door with friendly staff. Unfortunately the mini-mart close by didn't have many food options.

This is a reliable budget boutique find in a stunning, elite area. The highlight is absolutely the proximity to the water—having basically beachfront access in such a private neighborhood was a dream! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only note is that the rooms could use a little TLC; some fresh paint and new grout would go a long way in making the space feel finished. Also, keep in mind it’s a bit of a distance from the main shopping and dining hubs, so it's perfect if you're looking for a quiet escape.

We stay there for 4nigths. Very quiet place. 2 minutes walk to beach. Amazing beach, mostly for surfing. You can swim but careful for beginners surfers. The property is nice with a pool and outdoor kitchen located in a peaceful garden. We stay at room #35. Wifi connection very poor. Have to be in the balcony to get Wifi. Lack of hooks in washrooms and room for hanging things. Cafe Mar Azul is very good restaurant for your meal and drinks. Overall very nice property.

This place was INCREDIBLE! Everything about it was perfect. The staff was helpfull and very friendly. The acces to the beach super easy. We had dinner at the bistro and it was so good! We had the Villa #3 for 2 nights and we were super sad to leave. We will come back next year for a longer stay!

Outstanding staff! Comfortable bed and good size bathroom. Liked the keyless entry system especially when going to the beach we didn’t worry about losing key. Beach only 2 min away. Pool area lovely gardens and shade if you wanted. Room fridge and air conditioner were added features.

The staff was amazing. The room had a lot of ants, so much so I slept with the kitchen light on and there was no coffee in the morning anywhere until 8am. But it’s close to the beach and remote for a getaway.

Love the place, the pool was lovely and mostly quiet plenty of sitting available. The room was clean and well stocked with a full fridge, dishes everything you’d need. They don’t supply paper towels or dish soap so would want to get that before heading to the area. There is a tiny store but it’s not very equipped. Also you’re in jungle wooden area lot of bugs ants mostly take bug killer. Staff excellent and helpful. You are not on the beach but you have private access to it just across the way. There are 3 restaurants close by prices are American prices, not cheap. Buy snacks and food before heading to the area it will save you a ton of money. The hotel itself has no food or drinks. Within a mile or less down the beach you can cross by boat $2pp to Tamorino very active a lot shopping, restaurants and nightlife if that’s what you like. The hotel can set you up for tours and they will pick you up at the hotel. Bottom line this is a nice calm hotel but everything you want extra is close enough to get to. If you rent a car they have parking right out front it’s a safe this area is very clean and protected. Again, I would shop at a store before heading out to this hotel because it doesn’t have much of a selection. All the restaurants were good and the fresh fish was amazing. Have a fantastic vacation. Monkeys everywhere in the trees keep your eyes open. Turtles are fairly close down the beach also ask the front desk they will help you.

This js a great hotel for beach access and family friendly. We were in standard room. Very very small but that was expected. The staff was very friendly. We were there for 3 days. On the 3rd day our toilet clogged and the staff was slow to respond. They graciously put us in an upgraded room but while one of our daily member was having a shower, the water stopped. Later we found out that the were filling the pool. They didn’t inform us. I feel bad leaving a poor review since this is a rugged style hostel hote frequented by local Costa Rica people. But we dust get good experience and also cell signa and WiFi was non existent
