Very nice hotel. Friendly staff and the whole area was clean. Saw a lot of employees cleaning and doing maintenance to keep the hotel in excellent conditions. Pool was very clean as well and the main restaurant “Chula Vista” offered a different menu everyday. I would just say that a few improvements are needed in the seasoning of food to make it more delicious but presentation is amazing!

Upon entering the resort we were welcomed with champagne and helpful staff that assisted with our luggage. My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon and appreciated our getaway at such a beautiful location within steps away from the beach. This is a jungle experience! You’re surrounded by beautiful trees and vegetation… exotic animals and their unique sounds… as well as a beautiful beach with 2 pools and a swim-up bar! The staff is friendly and genuinely happy to see and accommodate you. The swim-up bartender, Antonio, is a true professional… quick to make your drink, fun, and entertaining! The restaurants were beautiful and clean, and the food was quite good. The property, itself, was extremely well-maintained and clean, and equipped with all the amenities you could want. We actually planned to be in town for a good portion of the trip, but my family and I didn’t want to leave the resort! It was such a relaxing vibe, great for families and couples… a great mix of both. Thank you to everyone at The Reef Playacar for such a beautiful and memorable family vacation.
