The Fives is a much more laid back vibe than other resorts we have stayed in the area. I love the commitment to sustainability and how much of the natural landscape and wildlife were preserved.

Great place to stay for a family of 4. Enjoyed the large separate rooms, great restaurants, pools, and nature trails. Beach was ok but the endless sargassum made the water unswimmable and really put a damper on the vacation (but it's no ones fault.) Really the only thing we didn't like was the location of our room, first floor looking out to a concrete wall with a noisy road on the other side. Would stay here again but would hope for a better view.

We had 7 in our party and stayed in the 3 bedroom penthouse. Loved every second of it. There was something for everyone to do. Monkeys came to our balcony daily!!! Alexa kept a drink in our hand the entire time at the pool. We will definitely go back.

The room was outdated and had not been renovated. There were large, dirty-looking stains on the bedroom floor tiles that were impossible to ignore and unpleasant to look at throughout our stay. The bathrooms were also very old, and the bathtub had rust and yellow stains, so we never felt comfortable using it. Overall, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. Although housekeeping came every day, the room never felt truly clean. This was a major downside for us. We really wish we had been assigned one of the newly renovated rooms. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The breakfast buffet was decent, but it offered the same menu every day and wasn't anything exceptional—just good. The resort is very family-friendly, which we appreciated. One downside was that the coffee shop charged extra for specialty drinks, whereas many other all-inclusive resorts include these at no additional cost. The dinner restaurants were also good, but they didn't stand out or feel exceptional compared to other resorts we've visited. Th beach area is not that pleasant either. Im comparing to placed like cabo and puerta vallarta resorts , and not even with resorts in cancun.
