We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s within walking distance of both the beach and Calle 5ta, where all the action is in Playa del Carmen. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. This is more of a boutique-style hotel. While it is beachfront, there isn’t direct beach access for swimming. One thing I especially appreciated was the nighttime security, which made me feel safe and comfortable. We would definitely return and stay here again.

A charming and peaceful seaside hotel. We liked it a lot. I could suggest a rail to assist getting in and out of the pool, softer pillows. The room and pool area were kept very clean. The beach area is small but adequate. I do suggest replacing beach umbrellas and beach chair cushions very soon. Carlos and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

My stay at Playa Palms Beach Hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and let me check in early. Alfredo checked me in and was extremely kind, giving me recommendations for food and helping me get acquainted with the area. The room and patio was comfortable and clean, housekeeping left adorable towel animals. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, cutlery, coffee mugs, etc. I enjoyed the pool, and the areas for washing sand off were extremely useful as the beaches in Playa I visited didn't have them. I found the overall atmosphere very calming, as the hotel was mostly quiet, with my only complaint being the construction noises during the day sometimes.

Love everything about this hotel. Beautiful, scenic, hammock on every patio, pool between rooms, layout of the room. Breakfast was really great, but make sure you order from the front desk the day before! It was a an easy walking distance to town.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel is right on the beach. Hotel is far enough away from the night life so not much noise. This is not an all inclusive, you can order breakfast for $10 us cold meal or $15 us per person for a hot meal. The restaurant next door is very accommodating, you can order and they will bring it right to your room or beach , we used them several times, great food!
