Really liked how the resort wasn’t too big so you can walk to everywhere on the property. Kids enjoyed the water park. Felt very private with our cabana and side pool. Food was ok for the most part.

Nice for families, but we wouldn’t rebook. We enjoy nightly shows / a theater and resorts that do not require reservations for dinner. It’s nearly impossible to get in places, and the buffet is not impressive. They offered 9 PM most nights, and with kids (actually even without kids), that’s way too late for us. We even tried booking before arrival. We managed a few decent ones that way, so that’s your only hope. Lorenzo by the main pool area and bar was a great bartender, but otherwise the drinks were not good at all unfortunately. We always have a great time and trip, and this was no different, but we won’t stay here again. 7/10. I will add that we had a few issues with our room, and the front desk managers were very helpful and quickly moved us to a suite.

Absolutely worth every penny- make sure to do the Nikita package! Catch a cab downtown for shopping and eating. Do the Cenote excursion. Don’t miss the “Circus Night”! Only negative is that there are very limited chairs around the pools so you have to wake up early to claim one.
