Everything about this place is excellent. The staff are great, service is spot on. Beautiful property. Vegan forward but they are accommodating of all food choices. Loved our pool front room. Great activities - yoga, and sound baths. Above and beyond all inclusive…Premium tequilas and chill vibes. Daily brunch on the beach, one of a kind.

If you’re looking to escape the city and truly relax, this is the perfect place. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Although it’s an all-inclusive vegan resort, but we are not vegan , so we also enjoyed the fish and steak—they were delicious! The drinks were exceptional, and the staff was amazing—friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Special Thanks to Kasandra and Oscar . They made our stay exceptional, they very attentive and caring.

The food options have decreased since we went 4 years ago. There are only 3 restaurants, so you end up eating at the same one multiple nights. That would be fine if the menu had more options, but each one only has 3 or 4 options on the main selection. The room service menu is also very small and sad, and the food we tried on that was not edible. Property is beautiful and peaceful, work out room is really nice. We come here for the small resort size and quiet, and Palmai delivers on that. They maintain the property really well and deserve recognition for that. Overall we won’t come back until the menu options change or increase.

The food and staff here are out of this world. They go above and beyond- the nomadic guides are available to help with all your questions via text. Danny and Fernando at the pool were awesome. Luis and Carlos and everyone at the restaurants does an amazing job! The food is great! There is something for everyone at every meal- you will find your favorites at every restaurant. Best experience at a Mexican resort in my 20 plus years of traveling there- definitely the best all inclusive experience! BTW if you like wine and martinis- this place does both very well! The vibes are calm and Plantissa was my daughter's favorite. Already planning our return visit!

Palmaia never disappoints; it is quite like paradise in every way imaginable. The property itself is stunning, as are the accommodations. Every room faces the beach, and you can hear the tide even with the sliding door to your room closed. The rooms are immaculate and contribute to the Zen quality of the resort. The food is absolutely delicious. We have stayed here now four times, and the quality of the food is unwavering. Alas, we do have one complaint, which is they now include animal options for those who are not plant-based. But we believe this is so the owner can remain solvent, so it is a price we are willing to pay to sustain this beautiful place. The rituals, classes, and spa treatments, and the incredible people who take care of you doing your stay are the icing on the cake. If you are considering, do it! It is well worth it!

The only wellness resort I've ever been to but it was amazing and relaxing. The staff was AMAZING. The scenery and rooms was absolutely beautiful as well as the amenities. The only downfall for me was i got food poisoning on the last day of my trip. 24 hours of diarrhea and vomiting. The staff insisted it was because the fermented foods but i assured them kimchi was not new to my diet nor plant based foods. I was offered a ride to the pharmacy to purchase a small bottle of pepto for $20. Besides that inconvenience the trip was great.
