We enjoyed seeing so many animals roaming around the resort and the commercial plaza was a highlight of our trip, with taco restaurant, churro and chocolate shop, crepes and ice cream, plus beautifully decorated.

Always came back to a clean room, staff were friendly for the most part, needs to be better A/C in the bedrooms and throughout the resort. Overall, I’d rate my experience a 6/10.

The resort was absolutely beautiful and the staff could not have been any nicer. We took our family with young children and the resort had things for everyone to enjoy. We could not have been any more pleased with our stay.

The building itself is much older than I had thought, but all in all this was a great location. The pool and the entertainment were top notch. Access to the beach was easy. Unfortunately during our stay there was a lot of sargasm in the water making it murky. Beach activities were great. The absolute best part of the stay was the Coatis and the Spider Monkey. The food was so so, our favorite dish of the week came from the Italian restaurant. We would definitely stay here again.

Nothing to complain. Great Hotel with excellent service and staff. Loved the nature around the hotel. Everybody was very helpful. Special mentions to Alfredo at front desk, Perla in entertainment and Alejandro the best bartender at the beach bar. The shows are really good (you don’t want to miss them) Will come back

This was not my favorite resort. The food was just ok, staff did do a good job, but they could have given you a map of the resort at check-in because it is so big. I loved the nightly shows! The LED light show and the Circus show were my favorite. If you are looking for something to do after dinner, I highly recommend these. The pool was decent, not super clean and you do not have wait staff that come over to get you drinks. All the drinks were super sugary and not the best. The pool is also surrounded by trees/etc so there were a lot of mosquitos. I have never had to be so careful at a resort. Definitely pack mosquito repellent if you plan on staying here. The room was decent, but my favorite part about this resort was the gym! So nice and a variety of equipment and very CLEAN! There were lots of people working out while I was in there also. Also LOTS of wildlife at this resort.

This was our fourth stay at this resort, and it continues to exceed our expectations every single time. We travel with our two kids—a one-year-old and a six-year-old—and we truly believe this is the perfect resort for families. My family has been traveling to Cancun for the past 10 years, staying at a variety of different resorts, and this one is, without a doubt, our favorite. The family-friendly atmosphere, activities for the kids, and overall experience keep bringing us back year after year. At this point, we’ve found our go-to resort in Cancun. We can’t wait to come back again!

Staff was incredibly rude, and unhelpful. Trying to get a ride around the resort was very hard, they passed us up so many times. For families who may be traveling together in large groups they were not accommodating for us to get into their restaurants/make reservations. The app was not helpful in locating certain areas. We requested help with our room AC and they showed up at 3AM while we were sleeping. While the enjoyed certain aspects of this trip such as the beach, and pool areas, we will not miss this place, nor will we be back to this resort.

I stayd in waves Paraiso Beach with my family. Beach nice but a lot of seaweed, sometimes very bad smell. Food ok, pool very nice , excellent equipment in gym. No place to cool off (lobby, buffet....no AC) Nice entertainment, a lot of activities. At the end , hotel has a lot to do but if you a traveler with experience upgrade to Iberostar Lindo Rivera Maya.

Our family of 4 stayed at this property for a week and didn't want to leave when it ended. It was the vacation we had hoped for and more! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food and drink options were top-notch. The property was well maintained and always being cleaned. We loved the giant pool and wide-variety of activities that were made available to us. The multiple sit down restaurant options were great and we never felt rushed anywhere we were. The one setback was that the beach was a red flag all week and it's in the season where seaweed consistently takes over the beach making it near impossible to swim. This is our second trip to a Iberostar Resort and will continue to go with them. Their service is the best and we felt taken care of all week. We will have memories that last us a lifetime!
