Property was very dated. Didn't have water for part of our stay. My room was clean, but the room I got for my kids smelled terrible. The staff is friendly and the location is good.

the Maria Candalaria is an old fading beauty. But it is right near the downtown close to either bus station. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The air conditioner was loud but kept us cool. My wife recently had back surgery so the pool (1 M deep) helped her with the ability to do low impact exercises.

hotel bien ubicado, cruzando esta la quinta avenida, el horario de alberca fue muy corto, la atencion del personal muy buena, me toco habitacion atras y no tenia una ventana, estaba tapada con un cuadro y habia ruidos extraños en la noche al grado de parecer que hay alguien detras y observando causando un poco de inseguridad, no tiene estacionamiento, si llevas auto lo dejas en la calle o pagas 200 por una estacionamiento por dia en algun parking lot.

You can hear the loud music from the clubs at the back of the hotel. It's in an excellent location. It has a cool pool but lots of families with children use it and it gets dirty. You can use it in the day after the water has been cleaned. Perhaps through no fault of the hotel, the water was often turned off. TV, Wifi and air/con were all good. Beds weren't the best. There was no mattress covers on the beds and so the sheets just slid off everytime you got up. There was a little fridge in the room.

El hotel Maria Candelaria es un muy buen hotel, pequeño pero muy comodo, limpio, el personal super amable y cuenta con una excelente ubicación queda a una cuadra de la 5ta. avenida sin duda alguna regresaria al hotel y lo recomendaria con amigos y familiares.

La ubicacion del hotel es excelente y esta muy cerca de todo, el personal es amable en todo momento; sin embargo hay varios detalles que no fueron de mi agrado, en primer lugar no hay agua caliente y considero que aunque sea zona de playa ese servicii debe existir, asi mismo el agua de la tuberia esta salada todo el tiempo desconozco la razon pero era imposible lavarse los dientes con esa agua... las habitaciones son comodas nada lujoso pero estan perfectas para descansar salvo el detalle del agua.

As close as you can get for the $$$

A fun place to stay, friendly staff, close to the beach and almost anything that you need. On the negative side, hot water is unpredictable, no coffee pot. I highly recommend it if you like to travel on the cheap. Oh, great outdoor seating area with wifi. Walmart nearby!!!

The bathroom was disappointing. The room may have been clean but it was hard to tell with the rundown condition it was in. It was also very loud in this area. Convenient location, however. Super close to beach, shopping, and bus station.
