Hacienda del caribe has a nice location, very close to la Quinta Avenida and all the restaurants. You get what you pay for it is a very modest hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and our internet didn’t work at all. If you have a limited budget this hotel is a good option.

To us, this hotel was a genuine Mexican experience. The facility had faded glory. Room was very good with good beds. The hot water was not working on and off. Weird to have a coffee maker but no coffee to make, even when inquired for. Pool is small and in the middle of all the lobby activity. Hotel is right in the Avenida 5 shopping market area but was still quiet.

The hotel was okay for my one night stay. Having to carry my 2- 50 pound suitcases up 3 floors was not so good. There was no one to help. The staff is very friendly. The one strange thing was that you are not allowed to drink your beer in the lobby or lower level but you can drink it on the street. All in all it was good.

Clean older hotel well kept quiet

Older couple needed ground float ck in told none available but then he looked again and gave us a ground floor no elevator here . Place as very clean for as old as it is . Nice Mexican decor. No complaints stated one nite .

I would highly recommend staying here it is so central to everything. Fifth Avenue and central where all the entertainment is and you're a very short walk to the beach. Also a very short walk away from some delicious very cheap food, where the locals eat. Franco was absolutely amazing. Helping me to catch a collectivo for the first time even writing down instructions for the driver to let him know that I wanted to go to Cenote Azul. Excellent service. Very quiet at night but very close to absolutely everything that you need. Highly recommended.
