ótima localização

Trata-se de um tipo hotel/pousada de praia. Mas pelo preço cobrado poderiam ter instalações melhores. Não há elevadores. Se for viajar com muitas malas peça para ficar nos andares mais baixos. As instalações hidráulicas do banheiro precisam de uma ampla reforma. Vaza água pela torneira da pia e o chuveiro está bem envelhecido. Os funcionários do hotel são bem prestativos e me ajudaram sempre que necessitei. O sinal da internet no quarto é bem fraco. Muitas vezes fiquei sem wifi. A localização é ótima. Por perto há muitos bons restaurantes e lugares para se tomar um bom café da manhã. A noite o barulho vindo dos bares pode incomodar àqueles com sono mais leve.

Buen lugar a un precio muy accesible.

Excelente atención y servicio, todos fueron muy amables. La limpieza es impresionante, la habitación huele muy bien, La ubicación es muy buena, puedes salir a relajarte y disfrutar de buena comida y bebida sin necesidad de un coche ya que la quinta avenida esta llena de bares, pubs, restaurantes, cafés, tiendas..etc. Tienen un servicio de renta de bicicletas lo cual llega a ser muy divertido el precio es accesible ya que puedes rentar por un par de horas hasta por día. En general muy agradable la estancia en este hotel.

This hotel is a good value for the location, you're right on 5th. We were in two different rooms for the two separate nights we stayed and neither room was too loud considering the location. Check in is easy and the staff is helpful. The beds are hard, but as we've found in Mexico most are. They don't have parking, but we had no issues finding street spots that were very close.

This hotel was recommended by a friend, and I recommend it too. It is on the main tourist zone from Playa del Carmen, quinta avenida. On a affordable price, excellent staff whom recommended us several nice cenotes to swim, places to eat, etc. On this Hotel you are in the middle of the riviera maya, minutes away from Xcaret, and on a good distance to Cancun and Tulum for every activity you wan to enjoy. I recommend to rent a car, but there is plenty of options for public transportation.

Et hotel vi vender tilbage til.

Dette er mit favorit hotel i Playa del Carmen, har boet her flere gange de sidste år. Hotellet ligger på 5 Avenue og tæt på Mamitas strandclub, hvor man får 50% på strandsole og parasoller. Ligeledes er der mange restuaranter i området. Sengetøjet bliver skiftet dagligt, og personalet er fantastiske og meget hjælpsomme.

Charming and comfortable

Rooms were even nicer than the pictures Everything was very comfortable and very quaint. The gentleman at the front desk was really slow and check in took forever even though we were the only ones there but everything else was great

Awesome location great staff authentic Mexico

We've been traveling to Mexico since 1995 and we love the food, culture, people, history - everything. We've stayed at many all inclusives but we found ourselves over and over again venturing to local restaurants and such so this time we stayed at Hotel Banana. We noticed the place on our many walks down 5th avenue. We're so glad we did! Location is quiet enough to sleep but right near everything. Town is safe-fun. Food is great and super cheap as are the margaritas - we suggest staying her or another small boutique hotel if you want some real flavor. Staffs great - recommend here highly and you can't best the price.

Great hotel

The Hotel Banana met my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was some noise from 5th Avenue but that was to be expected. I would definitely stay here again.

Quarto ótimo, apesar de virado para 5ª avenida era bastante silencioso. O funcionários do hotel foram bastantes prestativos e solícitos. Só o café continental que é bem fraquinho (café com leite, yogurt, suco e duas torradas), acho que podia ter uma opção de frutas. A localização é ótima, perto da praia Mamitas e no fim da 5ª avenida (tudo pertinho). Inclusive, o hotel tem descontos para clube de praia Mamitas e aluga bicicletas...

Wifi is terrible in the rooms, area is very noisy with Brazilian night club playing music upto 1am on a weekday.consider a different location for a good nights sleep
