I had an amazing and peaceful time here. The family and staff were unbelievable and made me feel at home, especially as a solo travel. The only problem is getting downtown- taxis are expensive! However the area is beautiful and it’s right next to the beach and the resorts so there are lots of options.

Really liked the tropical/jungle surroundings. The compact nature of Cocos meant that pool and restaurant were just 30 feet away(and the food is so good) and it was just a 2 min walk to the beach

Cute and sincere!

The cabanas were cute…reminded us of rondavels in South Africa and Namibia, with thatched roofs. The queen bed was tremendously comfortable. The little park area had fountains everywhere, hammocks and a heart shaped swimming pool. Service was outstanding, breakfast was excellent and included I. The room price. We also ate at the restaurant both days we were there….food was excellent.

The room was quite lovely and it was pretty much as expected. The primary issue was that at one point there were children (at this "adults only" hotel) playing on the hammocks outside of the pool, which was a disruption to the ambiance we had expected. Also, in the evening the restaurant would get quite loud. Mostly this is about my personal expectations but if asked, I would not stay here again, despite how much I enjoyed the "cabana" type of room. The main reason we picked a place "out of the way" in Playa was to escape the noise, which we were unable to do.

This property is... interesting. I think the room itself was honestly fine, but the water was salty and the shower filled up to be a tiny bath. We had to wait for the water to go down the drain very slowly before the second person was able to shower. I cannot say enough about how disgusting it is to brush your teeth salty water. I thought we were sucking water right out of the ocean. How are you clean with salty water? Youch.
