I had a wonderful stay at this well-located hotel, surrounded by shops and restaurants just a short walk away, yet surprisingly quiet. A big thanks to Miguel on the night shift for ensuring our safety and serving delicious breakfasts. Do need to mention he’s also a great guide. It was a fantastic experience!

We were so impressed with our stay at Acanto!! This boutique hotel is beautiful, prestine, unique and peaceful considering it is in the heart of 5th Avenue and a few minute walk to the beach. The rooftop patio has an amazing ocean view and bbq - eating and lounging area. The pool is situated in the middle of the open sky courtyard and very clean. The staff were very friendly, the included breakfast was perfect, the suite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We felt very safe - the doors are locked at night but staff there to let you in at any time of night. The shopping, bars, restaurants, beach clubs, beach - everything you come to Mexico for was right there at our fingertips. We will definitely return! Highly recommend!!

Truly enchanting, this smaller and more intimate hotel proved to be an excellent choice. The suites are beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and tasteful decor. A reasonably stocked kitchen with a full size fridge and stovetop. Staff are wonderful and quick to please. Just steps from 5th avenue it was remarkably quiet and calm. Walk to the beach or enjoy the pool in the courtyard. The rooftop patio has a bar-b-que, tables and chairs, loungers and a fantastic view of the ocean. And there is always a cool breeze. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

I got a suite that was spacious,,comfortable and had two balconies. One Juliet balcony and one larger one with seating. The rooptop was pretty nice. The pool was pretty but on the small side. Friendly staff. Complimentary continental breakfast. The few cons — shower head needs replacing/upgrading — a rainfall style one would be amazing. More kids on the property than I would have liked. A little noisy some of the nights we were there — from the street outside the hotel. Overall, though, I’d stay again. Reasonably priced, too.
