Bathrooms are usually a sticking point for me — I really dislike fabric shower curtains/screens — but despite the shower being over the bath, it was shallow enough to get in and out of easily even with dodgy knees, and a glass screen, which made a big difference. “The room was really bad. We had an annex suite. It looks like a student dorm. Not a 4 star hotel. Honestly I saw university dorms that looked better. The pool was ice cold in October. No heating. Almost nobody in the water because of this. Too bad. The food was pretty good, staff was mostly nice. Animation team with some kids activities. In the areas closer to the pools, the rooms are seemingly 5 stars but the rooms that are at the back of the hotel are most definitely not 5 stars.
