Original 1800s homestead, the cabin was stunning, cozy, homey, so nice!!! A very warm and welcoming place, quiet peaceful, in a beautiful setting. Jim and Linda are great hosts.

Linda Davies is a wonderful host! Our room in an actual log cabin was just the getaway we needed. The bed was the most comfortable we'd ever slept in! The property is beautiful!

Great place! Just as advertised! Quaint cabin with amazing ranch campus! We got to check out the larger house too! Would stay her again in a second! Perfect base for the local wineries and Placerville restaurants.

Such a lovely place to stay! Excellent host, Linda greeted us upon arrival and departure. We loved everything about it, the location, the trees, privacy, close to shopping and dining. So relaxing and comfortable. We will be going back very soon!

Beautiful cabin in the woods on a lovely property! We enjoyed our stay. A great place to enjoy a cold winter day beside a warm wood stove with a cup of coffee. About a 10 miniute drive to downtown Placerville where there are lots of great places to eat. Hoping to go back!

Charming, cozy, and historic log cabin on a large private property with other cabins, surrounded by loads of nature with apple trees and grape vines, where wild turkeys roam freely. Property owner Linda was so friendly and accommodating, along with property manager Patricia who lives across the street.

Amazing Place

We had an amazing stay at the Davies Family Inn. Jim and Linda were exceptional hosts and personally made sure that we were completely satisfied with our amenities and comfort. I feel like I hit the lottery with this place! Beautiful, quiet and a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Linda, the owner is most kind. She has everything ready for your arrival including a lovely basket filled with treats.She took me on a little tour of the property which was just gorgeous! If we're ever back in the area we would stay again!
