If the hotel had the room available that I booked via Expedia this would’ve been a more positive experience. I booked a king studio with a pullout bed and we received a king room with what looked like a small loveseat. I spoke to the manager on duty and she was very helpful and I could tell that this was an issue that comes up often. The hotel should update the rooms on Expedia so that this does not happen to customers. If you book the king studio with pullout bed I’d suggest calling the hotel in advance and confirming that they have the room you booked available. The hotel itself was designed beautifully and the history of the building was awesome.

The architecture is interesting. An overall theme of the hotel is great. Unfortunately the rooms are very small, even cramped. For the price they are charging you would think the room would be bigger. We did not experience any dining or other services as we only stayed one night.

Zero controls over the air conditioning. Either arctic blast or tropical breeze. Spoke to reception and the response was: “that’s how it is unfortunately”. Loved the architecture of this hotel and the beautiful marble entry and cozy upper lobby with bar. Parking was easy in and out garage. Just wish the guest rooms were a little bigger - they were furnished nicely, but just a little bit tight.

I wanted to love this hotel but it def has wear and tear, such as missing curtains. Additionally, no afternoon/evening room service, wifi didn’t work and it is unsafe to walk alone in this area - many sketchy people on the street around the hotel.
