The hotel was clean, and the beds and towels were clean. I was with a family member, and they complained about the dog smell. The hotel is dog-friendly, but I could not detect any dog odor.

I recently stayed for one night at the Cranberry Park Hotel and I was impressed by pretty much everything. The price was the lowest I could find in the area, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the room was very clean, and well kept, and the property itself was also very clean and well kept. It was also centrally located near many restaurants and was just a few blocks from the interstate highway, which made it very easy to find. As a business traveler, one of the things that matters most to me is fast WiFi Internet access, and I was not disappointed. It tested out on speedtest.net at 60mbps down and up, so I had no problems accessing my vpn network and streaming videos after work. The icing on the cake was Jessie at the front desk who was very friendly and extremely helpful when I needed to borrow a stapler at the last minute before checkout time. I couldn't be happier with my stay and look forward to coming back again. Thank you so much Jessie!

Nice, simple, clean room for a quick overnight stay while gigging/traveling. Staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The only thing lacking were the pillows. I usually travel with mine but forgot to bring it, so that's on me. Otherwise, a very good stay.

Scary!!! I booked because it was affordable and it had great reviews but when I pulled up it was clearly under construction it was clearly a residential motel and not something that would be safe for a single woman traveler even though I was traveling with my German Shepherd I drove around the building a couple of times and finally decided to give up my payment and go find another place. I do not recommend.

Pro's: cheap (you get what you pay for); great staff, clean sheets, towels, shower and shower curtain. Plenty of towels. Con's: someone had a cat or dog in the room and it smelled like cat urine and there was fur and dirt under the beds. (I know, I should not have looked.) The towel bar in the bathroom was ripped off the wall. There is a room safe and microwave but no mini fridge...whaaaat? There is an iron but no ironing board (people don't use these items anyway but there is no hairdryer). So the items you would use such as a fridge and hairdryer are not there but useless items (an iron with no ironing board) are in the room. The air conditioner didn't get truly cold, it seemed to max out but was just enough to get by. The ice machine ran out of ice. In a pinch, to save money, the bed was clean but maybe wait until they are finished remodeling.

Very pleased with the quality of my stay. I was looking for a place to sleep for about 6 hours beside the PA Turnpike and was traveling with my dog. I didn't want to spend too much, but I also wanted a clean and comfortable stay. This hotel lives up to its high reviews. Recently converted over from a Red Roof Inn, the new owners obviously took the time to fix the most important things: New beds, towels, and either new flooring, or they really took the time to get it super clean. My bed was VERY comfortable. The mattress was firm, the sheets soft. The pillows were the right mix between too soft and too firm. The towels were new and fluffy. The shower had good pressure, was warm, and the shower head provided a very nice spray. The room was very clean -no visible dirt or mold, no stray hairs, etc. They provide shampoo and body wash, along with multiple soaps, etc. Free coffee and friendly staff. I REALLY appreciated that there was no pet fee, as those can get outrageous, so that sealed the deal for me to try this place out. I will be staying again when I need a late night spot beside the PA Turnpike outside of Pittsburgh. Also, Tesla drivers, two superchargers within 1/2 mile of this hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby, shops too.

6/10 Okay

I expect the Cranberry Park Hotel will significantly improve over the next few months — when I stayed it was deep into renovation. Pros: The room was clean, the bed was fine, hot water and water pressure were good, so the basics were covered. HVAC was a bit odd, with both an A/C unit and a electric heater, but they worked well. The towels and linens were good quality, and the Wifi was fine. Cons: This facility is an old Red Roof Inn that was rode hard and put away wet. Decor is outdated, both towel racks in my room were missing, and the grounds were filled with the trash and paint associated with construction. There was a lot of work going on during the day, so I expect this will clean up over time. Bottom line: The room was fine for a budget hotel, but it wasn't quite ready for prime time. If you're reading this after Summer 2026, I'd expect significant improvement.
