It was a fantastic stay. Like living in the past. An elegant Scottish manor home that looked like a castle. Big bedroom decorated like the 1930/40’s but with modern appointments. Elegant dining room where you received a custom ordered breakfast. A very comfortable sitting/reading room and the grounds are beautiful and immaculately cared for. Just a 5 minute walk to the center of town. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my stay at Wellwood Manor

What a fantastic place. Comfy bed, fantastic shower and a nice big tv. Plenty tea, coffee, biscs and bottles of water in the room. Added bonus, the breakfast room is set up with same level of refreshments, all day, much appreciated after a walk up from the town in the evening. It said in the write up with Expedia that only a continental breakfast is included, this is not the case, a cooked breakfast is also available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would have liked is a small fridge in the room. Fiona
