The room that we had on the third floor the windows had been painted shut and couldn't be opened. Could do with a wee paint in places, staff and house keeping were all exceptional, asked how we were anything we needed just to ask. Front of house staff in dining hall were all lovely and friendly

The hotel was comfortable and friendly/ Disappointed they don't serve evening meals as we did not notice anywhere tat this was the case when we booked. Bit of a nuisance having to go out in all weathers

Scotland's Spa Hotel

Relaxing stay at the hotel, great base for exploring surrounding areas. We were a family of 4 (kids 9 and 11) and stayed in a family room which was a good size, clean and comfortable. The pool and spa are lovely and clean and breakfast was good too with continental and cooked options available. No dinner service whilst we were there but there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

We had a great stay. Jackie, pam and emily are an asset to the hotel. We had a pigeon manage to get into the breakfast room and the girls got it out with no problems at all. They dealt with the situation expertly.

But rough round the edges ..needs a bit of tlc. On the whole my stay was comfortable and pleasurable. Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was well presented. Room was OK and clean but a bit worn.

Very enjoyable stay large comfortable room with good facilities. Breakfasts were very good and food was high quality. The swimming pool and spa were excellent and never too busy.

The hotel is a bit outdated, but everything was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very good, with different options. The pool is not very big, but for a nice relaxing swim in the afternoon its perfect.
