We were three couples getting together for an annual trip. The rooms were exactly what we wanted, food and friendly service likewise. Best of all was having a table for six in the lounge for dinner and breakfasts with the owners themselves making sure we were enjoying ourselves.

Lovely stay at the Rosemount hotel in Pitlochry for some November hikes in the Cairngorns. The staff were lovely, in particular Phie was very friendly and attentive for all our breakfast servings. Delicious and hearty breakfast every morning with decent variety. The room was very cosy with just enough space to dry our wet hiking clothes when we needed. The water pressure in the shower was poor but a good excuse to have a decadent bubble bath!

Great few days and very dog friendly. Decor a bit dated but clean, warm and very comfortable. Big bathrooms, plenty of room in suite, comfy bed. Food excellent, great choice for breakfast and reasonably priced evening meals, food piping hot and home cooked. Sophie loved her sausage for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely be back, a wee gem of a hotel

Good hotel in good location

hotel in good location, and staff friendly and helpful. Disappointing on arrival as we had been sent email saying coffee, scones etc available before check in but when we asked the owner he seemed to have no idea why we were told this so we had to go elsewhere for the afternoon. However once checked in everything was really good and I would book this hotel again.

Staff were very accommodating. A little disappointed with breakfast. we weren't advised we needed to put a time on the breakfast order that we would arrive in the dinning room, this meant we had one hour to wait till we were served our cooked breakfast. we were all disappointed with the breakfast with the burnt potato scone to half portion of black pudding and haggis.

Room very small. No heating 1st night, moved to other room and heating in en-suite wouldn’t turn off!! Showers just a trickle of water. Bar facilities closed before 9 pm ( think they were short staffed.) Poor choice at breakfast and ran out of what I’d ordered for one morning

No soundproofing between rooms

The stay was disappointing. We never felt welcome since arriving at the hotel. The room was OK, but there was no pressure in the shower. The double bed was uncomfortable. There was no soundproofing between rooms, meaning that we could hear everything from the other rooms, be it dog barking or people being on the toilet. It also means that bringing ear plugs is a necessity to get some sleep here. The breakfast was included, but not worth it.

Chambre spacieuse et literie très confortable. L’hôtel Rosemount est situé dans un quartier calme et dans une très belle bâtisse en pierre . Les petits déjeuner y sont excellents ! Le personnel est très serviable et sympathique.
