Friendly and welcoming hosts in a beautiful, historic home who were very helpful with information about the local area, including providing discount vouchers to Blair Athol distillery and Blair Castle. Great breakfast!
Jack and Iris were PRECIOUS! We were welcomed in the lot as we arrived. Given many tips to explore the area. Not a far walk to the town. Breakfast was delicious. The room was well appointed with a comfy bed. We would stay again!!
We had a fantastic stay at this excellent B&B. The rooms were spotless, modern, and clearly cared for with a personal touch. Jack has done an amazing job upgrading the place and really making it his own — you can see the attention to detail throughout.
One of the standout features for us was their impressive whiskey collection. We spent a lovely evening in the bar enjoying a few drinks, and it was such a nice touch that the hosts joined us to chat and get to know us. It made the experience feel warm and personal.
Breakfast the next morning was also very good — fresh, well-prepared, and a perfect way to start the day.
Overall, a great blend of comfort, style, and hospitality. Highly recommend!
Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Everything was clean and the beds were big and very comfortable but what made our stay amazing were the hotel hosts, Jack and Holly! Thank you so much to the two of you for creating an unforgettable experience for our family. From your warm welcome to the delicious full breakfast, we will definitely return again and can say our visit to Dunfallandy House Hotel was a trip highlight.
Stayed for one night passing through Pitlochry. Jack and Iris are the perfect hosts, going above and beyond to make your stay special. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with a great night’s sleep in a luxurious bed, and invigorating shower to waken up, followed by an excellent Scottish breakfast. Jack even personally took me on a shortcut tour to the Dunfallady Stones I’d enquired about.
The bar has the best whisky collection I have seen, with Jack able to tell the stories behind many of them. Iris is the perfect host, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and picking just the right background music for the bar.
You can tell that they have put their own taste and passion and personalities into renovating the building, which felt like I’d been invited to be the Laird for an evening in his own home.
Will absolutely be back.
Jack our host went above and beyond our expectations. So helpful with advice for local area and transportation. Quality of food, drinks and service Outstanding. We will return.
What a great host Jack and Holly are, very helpful and excellent with our little 4 year old grandson who was on his first trip away from his mum and dad. Will be recommending the hotel to friends for sure.
