This was such a beautiful property, the fire pit made the night, it was just relaxing. We will definitely be back in Oct to enjoy it in the fall. The owners answered my request, no issues. We will definitely be back.

The pictures really don’t do this place justice—it’s a beautiful dome with modern amenities and a thoughtfully designed, comfortable space. We truly enjoyed our stay and found the property very well maintained. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the traffic noise, which can be heard quite clearly late into the night. Overall, it’s a beautiful place to stay, but the road noise is something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a particularly peaceful getaway.

Pilot Mountain Glamping Resort was a great weekend retreat for my fiancé’s birthday. Great location. We hiked at Hanging Rock State Park. We really enjoyed the deck with the Blackstone Griddle and fire pit. We had pancakes and bacon off the griddle for breakfast one morning, and hotdogs for dinner one night. S’mores later that evening over the fire pit topped off a great day. Jack was responsive to the only issue we raised and it was quickly resolved.

We had a wonderful experience at this dome site! It was a hot day, but inside the dome was very cool. The views were amazing, and it was a very peaceful spot. We enjoyed the fire pit, and we will definitely return! We also love how close it was to nearby attractions like Pilot mountain State Park, Mount Airy and even hanging rock State Park.

Such a cool experience! The tent itself was clean but there were dirty dishes and utensils put away and the towels smelled like smoke. Only stayed two nights which was perfect for the quaint area. Also we were situated near the road and could hear all the trucks throughout the night.
