“Todo bien. El hotel es curioso. Las habitaciones se cierran con un candado. Las camas son duras ya que es una estructura de ladrillo con un colchón fino encima. La ducha muy cómoda y con bien de agua caliente. Al llegar, a las 14h, ninguna de las habitaciones estaban lista. La recepción es 24h Nos entendimos con un traductor.”

“Localización muy buena al inicio de la vía peatonal”

“Beautifully designed, charming hotel in the middle of ancient town. Staff were very polite & helpful. Special thanks to Leo & Nancy who made our stay very comfortable. Also the dynamic Manager Crystal who supported with all the necessary arrangements. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to explore the area.”

“Located on a quiet street 5mins from the main “thoroughfares” of the old Pingyao, this gem of a hotel is like stepping into history. The courtyards and rooms look like the must have been hundreds of years ago. Rooms are very clean and discreetly fitted with modern amenities; no plastic decorations! Staff speak passable to good English.”

“todo perfecto. Recomendable 100 x 100”

“Very unique experience, located in the heart of the ancient city. Breakfast was not huge but very tasty and accommodated a few things for us. The staff was super friendly and some of them spoke good English. They even gave us a little present before leaving.”

“The hotel is in an unbeatable location. The room was very nice, although the air conditioning unit’s mounting bracket could use some fixing. The bathroom was fine. The highlights were the wonderful woman who runs the place and the hotel’s charming, traditional style, which has been very well maintained. The street it’s on is fantastic, and this town was my favourite of the 15 places I visited during my trip to China.”

“The area was generally very dirty. The entrance to the hotel was being used as a shop for Chinese girls to get dressed up and having makeup. Hence it was as you were entering a small fitting room. The staff could hardly understand a word of english, while we had to ask for very standard supplys such as toilet roles to be provided to the room.”
