“Short stay however it was very pleasant. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, room clean and amenities were very good. As for traffic noise couldn’t hear any outside. Would highly recommend and thank the staff for being so helpful.”

I had to fly urgently for family matters, from Barcelona, so a long haul flight in an aerial sardine can, the reviews for the View were good and the location was convenient. I got room 205 which was pleasantly located on top of the highway, just metres from roaring trucks and ambulances. There was no double or triple glazing so it felt like I was sleeping by traffic lights (the fact was sleep was impossible). The room should have been used as a storeroom, but yet, $180...

“No sleep. I was placed in the worst room, right next to the reception. The reception door slams shut all night, smokers outside the room talking all night, the microwave was right outside my room and people use it throughout the night, it is loud and smelly. And other guests are shouting in the corridors during the night and slamming the room doors all night as they use the communal toilets. My kettle did not work, which I reported and no one replaced. And the room next to me started drinking...
