Great location within walking distance to most everything. Seems to have been recently renovated but the shower heads are WAY to low. I am 5'2 and have to duck to wash my hair. The room was clean and we would stay here again.

This property needs some serious attention. Trash everywhere. Room was somewhat clean. Found things in the fridge. 1 Towel. No washcloth. Door was hard to lock and the security bar did not work. Pushed a chair in front of door because I actually felt a little unsafe. As most things, the internet makes things look better than they are. The pictures must have been when the property opened way back when. Don’t stay here. The only positive thing is the lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful.

Beds were clean and well kept, it got the job done when it comes to getting sleep. Missing a lot of things in the room, at least they had beds. Can’t complain on the price of stay. Happy about that.

My kids and I stayed here 4 years ago and it was great...have no idea what happened!! Everything was just run down, gross, broken or nonexistent! The room had mold on the ceiling and there was a cockroach hanging out there too! There was no microwave, coffee pot, blow dryer, iron. There was a small fridge that had opened drinks in it. The lock was busted off the door. The pool was disguisting! The property outside was not well kept and had garbage everywhere! I have never left a review before but this place is a joke! Oh and I have not received my $75 deposit back!

Don't stay there, the pool area was nasty and our TV didn't work the whole time. Landscaping was terrible. The only good thing was the location. I heard one other person say he had no power in his room for days and took them 2 days to put him in a different room. I think he was an extended stay person.

The pool was not open. Even though I called and checked 3 days prior to our stay just to make sure only to get there to be told it was closed. And the locks on the doors are not very safe...anyone could get in without any trouble. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and maintained well.

The property is old and worn out. However, it was clean. At checkout, I just put my room card in a basket because the note on the desk said "I will be back in 10 to 15 minutes." Didn't have time to wait for him to return. Several sketchy people were hanging out in a folding chair in the doorway of their room. Would not stay there again.

The AC in my unit wasn't working, Overall the room was clean, could defiantly use a paint job! Parking was super simple and easy, tons of space. The outside condition of the place could use a lot of TLC, paint jobs, weeds growing out of cracks in certain areas, just overall needs a little revamping. Front desk gentleman was very nice and answered all the questions I had. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the unmentioned $75 hold on the card. But understandable for getting a hotel room for $30. Never know what kind of people you could be hosting for that $ amount. But enjoyed the stay, we only really used it to sleep and for a quick shower. Would just suggest sprucing the looks and paint up!

I know that you get what you pay for, but this was actually the worst experience I have ever had with a budget hotel. Check in was easy, no issues there other than the front desk person had a sign up that said, "around the property, be back soon" and was gone for at least 20+ mins, not a big deal... you know what a big deal is, the dirty bedding, dirty floor and then the cleaning lady walked in (NO knocking or anything) just walked in, it made us all very on edge. Let's not forget to mention the large rocks in the pool, the broken-down air conditioner's laying all over the property, along with broken chairs and it really is just a terrible experience. The only good thing other than easy check in I can say it is located in a convenient location to walk to just about anything you could want.

The bed was clean and the air and TV worked. But the shower didn't have a shower curtain and the drain looked dirty. There were people running up and down the hall hald the night yelling and gaving a good time. I couldn't sleep. I tried calling the lobby several times and no one would ever answer. I still haven't recieved my security deposite back.

I was really disappointed with my stay at Americana Inn, a Travelodge by Wyndham. The first room we were given wasn’t even clean, and the staff didn’t seem to realize it until we pointed it out. Once they saw the condition of the room, they quickly moved us to another one. Unfortunately, the second room still had several issues, and overall the hotel didn’t feel very clean. On top of that, the staff wasn’t helpful or accommodating whenever we had concerns, which made the stay even more frustrating. It also seemed like rooms weren’t being turned over very efficiently. We were told there were no rooms available, yet after the issue with our first room, another room was suddenly found for us. That left us questioning how well the rooms were being managed and prepared for guests. The only positive thing I can say is that the pool was nice and well-kept. Other than that, the cleanliness, room condition, and customer service left a lot to be desired. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others.

To start off with we were checked into a room that had not even been cleaned from the previous people. When we entered our second room, you could smell the cleaning chemicals, so it had been cleaned. But, my wife went to use the restroom and there was a cockroach running around on the toilet. I understand that an occasional roach is going to pop up when you’re in a large facility like that. But, the entire facility was very disgusting from the get-go. We went to the Island, which is why we chose this hotel because it was within walking distance to do some shopping and just walking around and when returning to the room that evening and getting ready to go to bed, we noticed a bug on the pillow. Aafter doing some Google researching, found out that it was in fact a bedbug. We packed our things around 11:00 at night and found another location in town to stay. I 100% would not recommend this hotel and it honestly should not even be allowed to operate. I don’t do this lightly as I am in sales and rely a lot on Google reviews, but this was completely unacceptable.

I did not like anything about this hotel. Let's start by saying it was trashy. The room though was clean, the bed was the worst bed my boyfriend and I have ever slept on. No breakfast like it said no coffee maker in room. Water pressure was terrible. Toilet barley flushed. The pool was green the whole time we stayed. The ice maker was behind the front lobby desk so could only get ice when some one was there. It was so loud out side our door made sleeping even harder then it already was with the awful bed. I would never stay again and would advise others not to stay either.

Hotel really needs a deep cleaning. Elavator even had trash in overhead light, no inspection sticker. All patio furniture was broken and nasty. Could only get ice afer noon at desk. Wifi was awful if you could get it all. Had to move room because toilet wouldn't flush and they didn't even try to fix. No smoke dector in room and doors either hard to open if at all. Bathroom doors broken. I will say it was quiet and location was very good. Bed not bad. Couldn't watch TV due to wifi not working 90% of time. Staff when around was friendly but don't ask for anything after housecleaning or maintenance leaves because you won't get help. Pricing is very good if you can put up with the lack of everything else. I would think Wydam who owns the hotel would be ashamed of themselfs.

Room was very clean. Did not see any bugs. The bathroom was ok, just did not have a tub stopper. We informed front desk we had no remote for the tv. We got one from the front desk and could not get the tv to connect to the internet. Informed front desk. Man at desk said he’d come up and fix it. He never came and we got tired of asking. Elevator def needs attention. Walls were really dirty and the flooring needs to be replaced. It’s peeling up. There was a bag in the corner that was there for our entire stay. One small trash can in room. There were very sketchy people all on the same side we were on. I felt very unsafe and would not go outside without my adult son. We stayed here previously and I don’t remember all these problems. But this will be our last stay there.saving money on the night rate is not worth feeling unsafe
