Misleading, bad hotel, not recommended
Accused of being a day late on arrival, they had not updated their system to reflect the booking change.
Room smelt badly of sewage - we were told that its 'just the way it is' and to cover it with a cup.
Bad handling of our room change, the receptionist did a great job to just be undermined by a very rude gentleman and then more complications when someone undermined him. When we were finally given a room key it was just tossed across the desk at us.
No restaurant on site, its at another sister hotels location (possibly). The that we saw was a small buffet breakfast and the receptionist told us no english breakfast is served.
No signage for the gym, billiards table or games room. Billiards table not in reception as advertised.
NOT premium bedding! no pillow top matters as advertised and all bedding has stains and holes.
There was insufficient warning to a planned power outage - two posters in the whole building, we were not warned during check in.
No way of contacting hotel prior to check in, cannot book the airport shuttle as a result.
We booked this hotel as it was listed as 'new' on booking.com reviews but it is the same old hotel under a different name.
Very disappointed and we feel we were misled by the listing.
2000BHT deposit?! Thats £45! Thats a deposit for more than we paid for over a weeks stay, appalling!
