We used to LOVE Montree with its great location and wonderful cafe/restaurant. However, this last stay was different… I was book with 2 people but was denied a second key. Then I was told it’s always been the policy which I know is not true since we’ve been there multiple times before. When I asked for manager, someone claiming was the owner was less than cordial, especially to a repeat customer. I also found our room door was in disrepair. This made me sad since I liked it enough to have been back multiple times, but not sure if I’ll be returning. The cafe staff is lovely!

The hotel is located in the old city of Phuket, making it walkable to the top attractions. The room provided to me is in excellent condition and has a strong AC to withstand the heat of Thailand. My friends and I only stayed here for one night which was convenient at the time. They have a washing (60baht) and drying (20baht) machines. 20 baht to buy soap to wash your laundry. The space itself was cozy for three ppl but we made it work for the night. The staff were nice enough. Location was great! Walkable to a lot of nice restaurants around the area

First visit and won’t be the last! My son and I were only there 1 night. It’s so convenient to walk everywhere since they offered us a parking spot. Their cafe & restaurant is nice to have & delicious! The only thing was the AC unit. It kept clicking so might need servicing. Overall, great place!! Wonderful staff
