The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in a very nice neighborhood- ~ 5 minutes walk to Kata beach. The only thing that bugged me was that the room was severely dim light- not nearly enough light even with all the lights on (both in the room and the bathrooom). The management has to put in some effort to do some upkeep in this regard. Overall, a really good deal. I’d highly recommend the stay

A great hotel

It’s a lovely local hotel with amazing staff - they were ever so hospitable, and attentive! The hotel has a nice, clean pool, and is a short walk from the beach, and all the bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Great location

Comfortable hotel with spacious rooms, friendly staff and great location for the beach. Set back from the main road which was welcomed and removed noise pollution.

Great resort, excellent restaurant manager

Excellent little resort and the restaurant manager was fantastic, went above and beyond to help with food allergies and recommending food. Would recommend to anyone staying in Kata, very close to the beach and lovely quite pool area.

This property was a great find. All 3 of us loved it. Getting around was so easy and affordable. Small enough to be personal but big enough to have all the facilities. Rooms spacious and clean, pool beautiful, and the Lobster and Prawn Restaurant, which is adjacent, has a well priced varied menu. Oi and the staff were so pleasent and helpful too. We definitely look forward to coming back again!

Nice place

Staff were friendly, room was large, clean, we had a shower and bath. Rooms slightly dated, but clean and functional. Pool is large and has loungers. Area is great, beach, food market, restaurants on your door step. Mainly Russian guests as is Phuket.

I cannot fault the Kata Poolside , i stayed 10 nights in a pool acess room , ALL of the staff in the hotel from resturant, housekeeping,maintenance and reception were incredible, i will certainly stay again ,this is my 4th visit to Kata beach and my first at this hotel and its beautiful ,thoroughly enjoyed every minute ,great price ,great location peaceful and tranquil

Kata Poolside Resort

Great value for money. Location very good just 5 mins walk to beach. Plenty of restaurants in close walking distance. The restaurant at front of hotel was superb. Packed every night and very reasonable prices. Only negative comment is they have a pool bar but obviously never used. Staff were very friendly and the room we had - deluxe pool view was newly renovated and the important thing, the bed was very comfortable.

Well located good hotel with spacious rooms and a nice swimming pool near Kata beach. The staff was accommodating after an initial mix up in the choice of beds. The bathroom was pretty good too, with both a bathtub and shower. Maybe it could have been litten up a bit better. Well located to access the beach, restaurants or the Kata Walking Street for food in the evening a bit further North of the hotel. Overall a very good short stay in this hotel

Kata Pool Side has the most wonderful and service minded staff that I ever encountered. The hotel is super clean both the rooms and the exterior. I noticed that a lot of people were actually coming back year after year and I totally see why. My farther and I will definitely come back next year as well. Perfect for Mid Priced hotel

Not the swankiest hotel but great for the price and location if you want to be smack dab in the middle of everything. That said, it is recessed, so actually very quiet at night. The pool is gorgeous and pristine clean, very good service which is the standard in Thailand. We were very comfortable here. Especially since there was a ladder directly into the pool from our poolside balcony!

Great location for restaurants, shops & beach.

Nice hotel in the centre of Kata. No nice views from the rooms, unless you're overlooking the pool. A few metres down a side road off the main high street of Kata. A very busy, lively area. just a few hundreds metres from the beach. Small, clean and tidy pool. Mattress was firm which wasn't great for my back but the room and hotel was clean and tidy. Lovely helpful staff.

I’ve stayed here a few times and have always had a great time and service. I usually book a Saturday night when I go dancing with friends at the Palm! Safer not to drive home. However, on my last visit, I was visiting with a friend meeting me for dinner/dancing. He was there at check-in counter when I arrived, and after we had breakfast on the premises, my friend was also there at the front counter for check-out. I sat in my car for about 10mins after check out to check my messages. An employee accosted me at my car and demanded a copy of the passport of my friend: who was there at check in (and also asked to provide his ID and staff declined), at breakfast and check-out process. I have no idea why on earth they would bang on my car window to demand the passport copy of someone who’s not present?! Very confused. I’ve had a few good stays there and like the location and have recommended it to many people. After this, not sure if a repeat stay is in the future. My son likes it there. Manager was no help with my complaint of harassment.

Very close to all amenities including beach shopping restaurants and transport rooms are spacious and serviced daily also didn’t need to have the aircon working 24/7 as rooms were dark and well insulated. 9/10
