The room and property were clean, which I appreciated. We stayed here because my daughter was having knee surgery nearby. I had requested a first-floor room due to her surgery but was assigned a room on the 6th floor. With only one elevator and the ice machine on another floor, it was inconvenient while helping someone recover from surgery. The hot tub was disappointing. The water was cloudy, and several pieces of chipped tile came off and stuck to my swimsuit. The elevator frequently smelled like marijuana during our stay. The continental breakfast area was very small and crowded. There was no coffee available when I went down, and some of the breakfast items appeared overcooked. One positive surprise was that I was selected as Guest of the Day, but unfortunately no one mentioned it at check-in, so I didn’t learn until checkout that there was a reserved shaded parking space available right in front of the hotel. The front desk staff was polite but not especially welcoming. Overall, the property was clean, but there are opportunities to improve communication, breakfast service, and maintenance of the spa and pool area.
