This hotel was absolutely wonderful. We had our own private casita with stunning desert and rock views. The entire resort is lovely and walkable. An one of kind amazing experience the boulders resort! World class, a beautiful view on every corner. Golf cart rides no longer than a 5 minute wait. Enjoyed just walking around feeling good vibes from check in to check out. We will be doing this again so soon. We are locals to the area within 45 minutes. During summer perfect for my partner of 16 years. Not to mention i think we found place we wanna get married.

Great resort and the standalone Boulder Casita was comfortable with great privacy off the back patio. We traveled during the summer off season which meant we had to rely on the golf cart shuttle service because walking the large property would have been a challenge in the heat. Perhaps it was due to be off season but there definitely several repair projects that desperately needed to be completed. Lots of pathway lights out making walking around at night challenging. Ice machine near our room not working. Vast majority of staff were amazing and willing to go the extra mile. One pool server had a very negative attitude and had some condescending words during our first interaction. It’s a fairly long drive from downtown Scottsdale, Camelback Mountain area, and other nice areas of Phoenix so wouldn’t recommend if you plan to frequent those areas.

Rooms were great. There we tried out the tennis courts walked along trails. They have bike trails but you need to rent the bikes from a third party. Pools are good we prefer the one by the spa it’s typically quieter. Spa is a bit pricey but the facials are definitely worth it. They also have a gym, sauna, steam room, and an indoor hot tub. The staff that takes you around the resort in a golf cart is always friendly and helpful. The stay was great I only thing we missed out on was golfing. Outside the resort there’s Cave Creek close by with coffee shops and restaurants. We also visited desert ridge which has more options when it comes to food and has a shopping center. Resort is more than an hour away from Phoenix but there are plenty of things to do on site the whole resort is pretty large. It’s great for a relaxing get away.

The Resort, itself, was beautiful, but no variety in terms of Restaurants and onsite entertainment after dinner time. The one lounging area was great in terms of drinks and had a karaoke style showcase/singer on the weekends. The rooms were well maintained and reset daily. The Spa needs more help in terms of staff and direction to its guest in checking in, and smelled a bit while walking around, especially considering the pricing. The shuttle services around the resort were great and most of the staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the resort. Overall, it was a great experience, if you want to relax, but not much to do for younger folks.
