had a fantastic stay at Sun & Moon Riverside, a beautiful locally owned 5-star hotel right in the heart of Phnom Penh. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly charming, welcoming, and genuinely attentive — you really feel the warmth and care that comes with a locally run hotel. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well appointed, offering a calm and relaxing retreat after busy days exploring the city. The infinity pool was a real highlight — a lovely place to unwind with great views and a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, with a very good variety of options and high-quality food, and the hotel also offers a great choice of meals throughout the day. Everything was fresh, well presented, and consistently delicious. Overall, Sun & Moon Riverside offers the perfect balance of comfort, style, and genuine hospitality. If you’re looking for a boutique-style luxury stay with heart and character, I would highly recommend this hotel.

No room upgrade or vip amenities were offered but it is still value for money. The gym, pool and spa are amazing. Staff and service were also fantastic. Food and beverages are on the expensive end for Cambodia but is a 4 star hotel. I will stay there again when I’m in Phnom Penh.

This was absolute luxury at an affordable price. The room was beautiful and had all the amenities we wanted. The staff was outstandingly helpful and gracious. This was the best place we've stayed in a very long time.

As an American tourist, this was a very strange place to stay. Inconveniently far from the city center, hallways and rooms smelled of cigarette smoke, and none of the staff seemed to be comfortable speaking English. The breakfast was not included in my stay but was mediocre- pastries were terribly dry and crunchy, coffee was not drinkable, et cetera.

The location is great with a huge gym and awesome infinity pool. It is not located in the city center but you can walk there in 40 minutes. Tuk tuks are waiting outside so you can easily get off to the city
