“Homely”

“Stairs only, no lift.”

“Handy location to the south of Canberra and appeared to be a great price. Unfortunately the photos do not show how tired the carpets curtains are with quite a few stains. Stains on bed quit too. Room walls are very thin and could hear couple having loud conversations next door almost word for word. Room cleaning appears to go until early eavinjng with bags of sheets and empty boxes everywhere. Quite disappointing.”

“Convenient location. I do not like the couch as it was old and part of it was pelled.”

“Good”

“Our stay was not great. Remote for air con was missing, a great staff member gave us a portable heater instead which was nice. Microwave did not work, which was replaced quickly. But the shower was not cleaned at all, it had the half used soap with hair attached from the previous guests and was very dirty. We spoke to the manager about it and he did not even care, no apology, nothing. It was clear that he did not care.”

“El apartamento que nos asignaron era muy ruidoso y nos cambiaron a una habitación muy amplia y agradable pero no hicieron la limpieza antes de que entráramos todos los muebles llenos de polvo, la terraza con telarañas, vajilla sucia y restos de comida usada en el congelador, al día siguiente tampoco hicieron limpieza y cuando llegaron a darnos toallas limpias, solo se llevaron la basura.”

“The room was clean and basic amenities (washing machine, dryer, fridge etc) Bedding and sheets were good. The bathroom- shower had mold The heater for the bedroom didn't work, however there were other bedding available to help on the chilly nights. Great stay, thank you”

“Breakfast was expensive and could only have the buffet. But there were local cafes if you just wanted a coffee! Apart from that we had a lovely stay!”

“Our family stayed there for 3 nights. Parking was a bit tight to navigate for a big car, especially if another car was coming down the opposite way. Slight musky smell in the apartment - had to spray some air freshener. The fan in the bathroom wasn't working - had to open the windows to air out the steam. Walls are thin - can hear other people if they get a bit loud at night. But otherwise, a good place to relax after exploring the city.”

“Lovely hotel.”

“We had a fantastic stay at The Sebel Canberra Campbell and couldn’t recommend it more highly! The staff were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to accommodate us. They kindly allowed us to check in early when we were picking up our new puppy, Matcha, which made the whole experience so much easier. They also arranged a late check-out so I could participate in the Canberra Running Festival without having to rush back, which we really appreciated. The room was lovely, the bed was...

“This is my go to place to stay when I visit Canberra. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are just perfect for a short stay.”
