The hotel is under new management and recently renovated. The new owner Christina and the front desk manager Jo-Ann were extremely pleasant and very helpful. The Inn is located in heart of downtown Phoenixville in walking distance to restaurants, cafes and many unique shops. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Phoenixville area, I highly recommend you check out the Mainstay Inn

The Mainstay Inn is fine. Its location is the best part. While the property was very clean and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful, it was a very basic place. No ice machines (need to ask desk staff to get you ice), limited amenities and tight quarters in the room, very limited "breakfast," and extremely limited parking. All that being said, nothing was particularly wrong with it, and it does seem like they are working hard to provide good customer service.

The staff and the hotel were fantastic. My one issue with our room was the shower. Being one of the stalls with just a half wall a lot of water ended up on the floor in the bathroom. Also the coffee bar in the morning was very sparse with things to choose from so it was easier and better to go to a coffee shop or a restaurant for breakfast. But overall I would stay there again. We did rent the king bed room and there was plenty of room for the two of us. We had no problems getting a space in the parking lot and left our car there for the entire weekend since Bridge St was closed for many blocks their summer events. We didn't need to use our car because we had family in the area that drove us.
