Management was nice and friendly and accommodating. Building is in a bad looking neighborhood but looks can be deceiving. Great community. Just be mindful. Also inside looks completely different than outside. Remodeled and nice.

I stayed here for two nights while visiting my daughter for Temple Homecoming! It was an affordable and lovely accommodation. The check in process was easy and staff was easily accessible by phone and email. The property is cute and well maintained. I tried several times connecting to the television with WiFi but it did not work for me. Street parking was readily available and i could see my car right outside the window from my room. The inside was nicely maintained and smelled good! however the outside and surrounding areas need some attention. It was overall a good stay and I would stay again.

The room was in an old building in a run-down neighborhood. However, the inside was recently remodeled and in good, clean condition. The property is quite a walk from the subway, however city busses stop nearby. You can actually call and speak with someone if you need help. However, some of the information you get is incomplete and sloppy. The biggest issue for me is the security deposit. You must send them cash via Apple pay, Zelle, etc. before they'll send you the entry codes. I left 5 days ago and am still waiting for my deposit to be returned with no communication from the property.

There's no staff, but you get plenty of information prior to your stay. Shower is tiny, but stocked with soaps in case needed (bring your own). Overall quiet and pleasant stay. I recommend for a week or more since kitchenette and mini fridge are included.

An ideal spot for single, twenty to middle aged traveler not interested in exterior aesthetics and traveling on a budget. It's an out of the way location in the heart of north Philly but blends in so well with the neighborhood, you'd never believe the quality of it's interior and security. Parking is typical inner city. Set your vanity aside and enjoy it with an open mind.

Started off on the wrong foot when the first message was asking for $200 USD via cashapp for the deposit before being able to get the check in information. Towels don’t come included ($8 usd towel fee). So I had to ask for some and thankfully the fee was waived but it should just be included in the initial charge. It’s standard in the United States of America to have towels included in your three night stay. I’ve stayed all over the world and this was the first time something like this happened. Especially since the shower is so small that water gets on the bathroom floor. Don’t expect the WiFi to work at all. The GOOD : It’s actually a safe neighborhood, I walked to 7/11 at 1 am and back and it was totally fine- even enjoyable really since the colleges students are also outside. Also a corner store only two blocks away. It’s a residential neighborhood so it’s families that live there and the property is really clean- like not even a roach in the hallway or nothing !!!!! Even though I stayed in the room closest to the door it wasn’t too loud or rowdy just regular city noise. It has potential to be a 5 star no frills stay if they just included the $200 deposit when booking the initial stay aswell as the towel fee.

My stay at Goodseed Suites Philadelphia Center was good overall, especially once I got inside. The property appears to have been recently renovated, and everything inside was new, modern, and clean. Unfortunately, the arrival and check-in process was frustrating. After my Lyft dropped me off, I had trouble getting the information I needed to access the building through the Expedia app. I called Goodseed several times but got no answer. I eventually texted and received the login/access information. This process should be improved, especially for guests arriving with luggage who expect to enter the building without a long delay. Once inside, the experience was much better, and I appreciated the renovations. However, the internet/Wi-Fi needs an upgrade, particularly for guests who need a reliable connection for work or streaming. I also have a few bathroom improvements to suggest. I wish the sink were a little larger, the mirror had better lighting, and the shower had a curtain or another solution to better contain the water. Another area that definitely needs improvement is the deposit refund process. I paid a $200 deposit and had to reach out multiple times just to get an update on when it would be refunded. Guests should not have to repeatedly contact the property to find out the status of their money. The property should clearly communicate the deposit policy, expected refund timeline, and provide proactive updates if there is a delay.
