Alpenhof B&B totally EXCEEDED our expectation. The location is great, our room had a great view, we felt like we were in a cabin with beautiful nature and view. It was quiet and serene. The room was big, had a wonderful view, bathroom and shower were spacious and comfortable. The owners were on top of things. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our stay. The grounds of the property are beautiful….lots of pretty flowers and greenery. The host and hostess were very friendly and welcoming. The place is a converted barn from 65 years ago, therefore, the bathrooms were on the smaller side (we stayed in Rowland’s room, which is one of the smaller rooms and was the owner's bedroom as a child) and I’m assuming most of the other bathrooms were small but certainly adequate. Shower was nice size with rain shower head and handheld shower. The decorating is eclectic with lots of old antiques and furnishings. Lots of interesting things to see and the owner had lots of collections on view. You had your choice of several items for breakfast….. eggs any style, omelets, pancake, waffles, and French toast. Fruit cup was very fresh and the food was delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We loved our stay here. It was perfect. We were here over the Memorial Day holiday weekend and it was just wonderful. The home is peaceful with gorgeous surroundings. The breakfast every morning was delicious. So glad we stayed here while in Philly.

Our hosts were very lovely. They were so accommodating and they served a delicious breakfast. Their property is surrounded by a beautiful flower garden and the inside of the inn is truly an art museum. Our stay was peaceful (exactly what we wanted) and the pool made the scorching outside temperatures bearable. If you're visiting the Media, PA area, I promise that you'll love Alpenhof Bed & Breakfast.

A MUST STAY!

An amazing experience! Such a beautiful building, the decor is unmatched. Lots of communal rooms and places to gather. The owners are so incredibly sweet and helpful. They offer a delicious breakfast with options to choose from off a menu. Everything was so lovely and we cannot recommend them enough!
