Overall it was about 3 stars. Staff was friendly. I was unimpressed by the room. The shower room door was falling apart, I'm assuming from moisture and overall was run down. The bedroom area was fine, but overall everything seemed outdated and rough looking.

I have stayed here a number of times while traveling in this area. The staff is great and while the hotel is older and run down in many areas, they do a decent job of keeping it clean. However, on this visit all of the 8 pillows in this room were old and lumpy like they had been washed to many times, I needed to go purchase a pillow for my stay. And the towels had a feel of being washed in with something greasy, nothing soft and fresh about them.

Close to downtown and a beach. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. However the property itself is in need of some upkeep. The towel bar was broken off the wall in our bathroom, walls in room and hallways scuffed and scratched. The hotel itself in need of some basic upkeep and renovation. Walls are thin could hear noises from other rooms in our room.

I stayed in 3 different rooms, on 3 consecutive nights (that was MY doing, due to not knowing how many days my trips was going to last). All of them were clean and comfortable. Staff was always very friendly. Good selection for breakfast each day (although I'd love to see more fruit offered). All rooms could use re-caulking in the bathrooms. And the shower curtains are completely useless - fabric doesn't keep water inside the shower at all (which makes that new caulk extra important!). Thank you for a pleasant stay!
