Charming Historical Hotel

Beautiful, very large room with patio, fireplace & jacuzzi tub. Very comfortable and clean. Much better than hotel chains in the area. Would 100% stay again.

Lovely cozy place to stay.

The breakfast was a nice plus and the cleanliness of the room was excellent. We also had a great chat with the attendant at the front desk. Everyone was very nice. Loved the coziness of the fireplace in the front. Just an all around great experience.

Visit to the U.P

The stay at the hotel was very relaxing. Located in easy access to surrounding places of interest, so was a good base camp for the "Go-See" items we had planned for the days. Very welcoming atmosphere and good amenities

Great Inn

We love this hotel. Charming, elegant, historic, and very comfortable. The location is excellent for walking around and viewing all the amazing homes along the water. About a mile walk into town, but a gorgeous and it goes fast. Breakfast is very good and in a beautiful dining room.

The room an landscaping was beautiful. The dining room an entry was gorgeous. The one thing i noticed right away was the exterior of the buildings in places needed painting, it really takes the beauty of it down.

A lovely inn Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful, friendly, immaculate, clean, cozy. Perfect place for romantic get away, or fun time with friends. Lots of spaces for games and conversation. Bordering Lake Huron and a short walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Staff is friendly and aim to please.

Nice breakfast provided. It is an older facility - kept up beautifully but the air conditioners are difficult to operate for seniors because they are low near the floor. Love the fresh cookies every day. Staff very welcoming. Nicely decorated.

Cozy clean rooms and specious Perfect location to walk bike to downtown harbor area. Dock area was nice to watch sunsets and paddle board launched. Breakfast delicious and nice selection. Lobby and grounds immaculate, and staff courteous.

The room was spacious and clean, and the grounds are so pretty and relaxing. The only problem was the baseboard heater was not working, and the overnight temperatures were in the low 40s. The staff brought a space heater and extra blankets, but it was hard to enjoy the room.

All was good except for sandy floors and noise from people walking back and forth in room above. They probably heard our television which wasn't loud. Probably why the room was equipped with ear plugs because the location was super quiet. Beds wrre bery comfy and breakfast was diverse and delicious.
